A stately home set in an impressive estate and maintained by the National Trust. It was built by Thomas and Andrew Chirnside, both Scottish, between 1874 and 1877 and surrounded by a grand garden. This is one of Victoria's most important surviving stately homes. For more info, please visit here.

Penang is where I spent my growing up years and certainly it's very close to my heart. Recently, Penang has been voted one of the Top 44 Places to Visit in 2009 by New York Times. It's ranked No 22 in the list.

I managed to squeeze in some time to capture some of the essence of Georgetown, Penang. I have to thank a couple of my school friends for that. There are things that I took for granted and have ignored them in the past. Definitely, I will try to take more pics whenever I'm back again.
